Their final triumph over Plateau Queens confirmed their place among Nigeria’s top rising clubs.
Led by Coach Favour Aneke, Rangers Women showcased tactical discipline and attacking flair through their “Press-Play” system a style that has seen the team combine youthful energy with clinical finishing.
Star forward Chisom Onuchukwu netted four goals in the campaign, including back-to-back braces that powered the team’s early momentum.
For Aneke, the promotion represents more than a footballing success; it’s a statement of intent from the Coal City.
“This is for every young girl in Enugu who dreams of football,” he said before the tournament.
