Remo Stars have appointed former Super Eagles assistant coach Usman Abd’Allah as their new Technical Adviser.
The defending NPFL champions are struggling in the league and currently sit bottom of the table with 27 points from 27 matches, recording 16 defeats and three draws. With 11 games remaining, the Sky Blue Stars face a tense fight to avoid relegation.
Abd’Allah brings extensive domestic and international experience to the role. He has previously managed Enyimba, Wikki Tourists, and Kano Pillars.
At Enyimba, he led the team to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, narrowly losing to Moroccan side Raja Casablanca, and guided the club to the NPFL title in the 2018/19 season.

Before coaching in Nigeria, Abd’Allah worked in the French lower leagues with EPS FC, FC Sete, FC Frontignan, and Bollene FC. He holds UEFA B and UEFA A licences, attended multiple CAF coaching courses.
Abd’Allah succeeds Daniel Ogunmodede, who left the club following internal disagreements despite leading Remo Stars to last season’s league title.

The club has tasked Abd’Allah with reversing their fortunes and steering them clear of relegation, a sharp contrast to their championship-winning campaign last year.
