Riveiro’s wins with Pirates make him the most-wanted coach worldwide

Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro’s thriving wins have thrown a lot of potential teams beckoning on his expertise in the coming season after he decided not to extend his contract with the Pirates.

The South African earlier reported that national teams from Morocco, Finland, and Sweden had shown interest in Riveiro.

Word has gotten out that a Saudi Arabian club is keeping an eye on Riveiro’s status. People in the know said this club had asked questions long before news of his exit from Pirates went public.

During the Buccaneers’ trip to Algeria to play MC Alger, Wydad Athletic Club made inquiries about Riveiro, according to sources.

From an insider “Let me tell you different clubs have been asking about him, but the serious interest has come from various national teams Wydad, and a Saudi Arabian team. We don’t know the name, but it’s in Saudi Arabia. The coach has done a great job making a name for himself since he joined Pirates, which explains all the attention,”
