Samuel Chukwueze marked his return to Premier League action in decisive fashion as Fulham came from behind to secure a dramatic 2–1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Craven Cottage.
Brighton had controlled much of the contest after taking the lead in the first half through Yasin Ayari, whose fierce strike found the top corner following a spell of sustained pressure from the visitors.
Fulham struggled to find fluency, with Raúl Jiménez denied from close range by Bart Verbruggen before the Seagulls went ahead.

Marco Silva turned to Chukwueze just after the hour mark in search of inspiration, and the Nigerian winger made an immediate impact. With 18 minutes remaining, he raced onto a long, perfectly weighted pass from Joachim Andersen and finished calmly past Verbruggen to draw Fulham level and lift the home crowd.

Since joining Fulham on loan from AC Milan, the Nigerian winger has contributed three goals and four assists in 10 Premier League appearances, the majority of which have come from the bench.
Brighton thought they had restored their advantage moments later when Danny Welbeck found the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR check. That decision proved pivotal as Fulham seized control late on.
