AC Milan staged a stirring second-half comeback to defeat Bologna 3-1 at the San Siro on Friday night, with Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze playing a pivotal role off the bench.
Riccardo Orsolini, a player heavily linked with a summer switch to Milan, gave the visitors the lead shortly after the interval with a well-taken strike in the 49th minute. But the Rossoneri responded in style, rallying with three goals in the final 20 minutes.
Santiago Giménez drew Milan level in the 73rd minute before Christian Pulisic edged them ahead with a tidy finish just six minutes later.
Chukwueze, introduced in the 65th minute, capped a lively cameo by setting up Giménez’s second to seal the result.
