Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived in Fes, Morocco last night as preparations intensify ahead of the 35th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Nigeria’s scheduled training session on arrival was rescheduled due to the team’s late landing, but the squad will now hold two training sessions on Friday, at 10:00am and 6:00pm, as they settle into their new base.
The Super Eagles departed Cairo, where they spent four days in camp as part of their final build-up to the tournament. During their stay in Egypt, Nigeria faced the Pharaohs in a pre-AFCON friendly, suffering a 2–1 defeat. Defender Chidozie Awaziem scored Nigeria’s only goal in the encounter.
