Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have opened talks with Club Brugge over a possible move for Nigeria international Raphael Onyedika, as the Bundesliga side look to strengthen their midfield before the close of the transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been a standout performer since joining Brugge from FC Midtjylland in 2022. He has made 89 appearances in his first two seasons, helping the Belgian side win the 2023–24 Pro League title.
Onyedika continued to impress last season, featuring in 52 matches across all competitions and playing a crucial role as Brugge lifted the Belgian Cup for the first time in ten years.

Despite growing interest from abroad, Brugge are determined to keep their midfield lynchpin as they push for both domestic dominance and progress in Europe.

The deal reportedly under consideration would be a loan move with an obligation to buy, though the situation remains complicated as Brugge are reluctant to lose such an influential figure so late in the transfer window.
