Victor Osimhen opened his account for Galatasaray as the Turkish champions thrashed Kayserispor 4-0 to maintain their perfect start to the season.
The Super Eagles striker, who joined permanently from Napoli this summer, started his first league match of the campaign after coming off the bench in last week’s win against Karagümrük.
Evren Eren Elmali gave Gala the lead shortly before half-time, before doubling his tally seconds into the second half from a Leroy Sané cross.
Osimhen struck in the 86th minute to make it 3-0 with a composed finish, his first goal in Galatasaray colours this season, before Sané added a fourth in stoppage time.

The result keeps Galatasaray top of the Turkish Super Lig with three wins from three, scoring 10 goals without conceding, as they chase a fourth consecutive league title.

The Nigerian international, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, delivered a standout campaign in Turkey, scoring 36 goals and providing eight assists in 40 appearances.
They will hope to win a domestic double again as perform well in the UEFA Champions League.

Galatasaray host Rizespor next Saturday, while Kayserispor travel to Kocaelispor.
