Chiamaka Nnadozie continues to make waves in European football, as the Nigerian goalkeeper has been named in the Arkema Première Ligue Team of the Season for the second year in a row.
Nnadozie made history last season as the first Nigerian to earn a place in the league’s Best XI. This year, she is joined by teammates Clara Matéo and Kessya Bussy, marking a strong showing for Paris FC.
Matéo, a French international, finished as the league’s top scorer with 18 goals and is widely tipped to win the Player of the Season award. She was also the only player to win multiple Player of the Month awards this season.

Nnadozie, a two-time CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, is once again shortlisted for the Goalkeeper of the Season prize, which she won last year.
The 24-year-old kept 11 clean sheets in 18 appearances — second only to Lyon’s Christiane Endler, who kept 13. PSG and England goalkeeper Mary Earps also made the three-player shortlist with eight clean sheets.

Nnadozie sustained an injury in Paris FC’s 4-0 win over Fleury 91 but remains optimistic about returning in time for the Coupe de France Féminine final against PSG on May 3 in Calais.
Paris FC and PSG will clash again in the league playoff semifinals on May 11. A victory would secure a spot in the final against either Lyon or Dijon — and a ticket to the 2025–26 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
After falling to PSG in last season’s semifinals, Paris FC rebounded to claim third place. This year, Nnadozie will be aiming to lead her team even further.
