Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) giants Rangers International FC have officially announced the contract extension of their Technical Adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu.
The extension keeps Ilechukwu at the helm until the end of the 2026 season, following a high-level meeting with club leadership led by General Manager and CEO, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, that reaffirmed confidence in his performance and vision.
Ilechukwu, 46, was appointed in July 2023 to replace Abdul Maikaba, and made an immediate impact by guiding Rangers to their eighth Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title in the 2023/24 season—his first season in charge.

Rangers are currently targeting the President Federation Cup, following a mixed title defence campaign that has seen Remo Stars clinch their first-ever NPFL title with two games to spare.
