Chippa United and Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has downplayed ongoing transfer speculation, insisting his focus remains on finishing the season strong.
Recent reports suggested that Chippa United, a Premier Soccer League (PSL) club in South Africa, was preparing to sell the Super Eagles shot-stopper, with a transfer supposedly in progress.
However, no official communication has been made to the player regarding a potential move in the upcoming summer transfer window.
A source close to Nwabali’s representative agency, David Moss Group, clarified the situation in an exclusive interview with Africafoot,
“These claims are baseless. We have not received any contact or formal communication from Chippa United regarding a transfer, as for the future, anything can happen, but at the moment, the speculation about Stan’s departure is unfounded. He remains focused on finishing the season.”

Currently valued at approximately €600,000 on Transfermarkt, Nwabali will have two years left on his contract at the end of the season.
Since joining Chippa United in 2022 from Katsina United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), he has cemented his reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the PSL.
