Flying Eagles striker, Kparobo Arierhi, has been recognized by CAF Online as one of the five standout players poised to make a significant impact at the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt 2025.
Arierhi has emerged as one of the most exciting prospects in the tournament, with Nigeria placing great hopes on the prolific forward to inspire their campaign.
Arierhi’s rise to fame began at the WAFU U-20 Championship, where he scored twice in the final to help Nigeria secure the regional title. His outstanding performance in that competition established him as a high-profile player and a clinical finisher.

Last season, Arierhi made headlines in The Creative Championship League, netting 22 goals in just 15 matches.
His remarkable scoring record has made him a central figure in Nigeria’s plans as they aim to reclaim their place among Africa’s top youth sides and secure qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Arierhi’s movement, instinct inside the box, and ability to convert chances under pressure make him one of the most dangerous strikers in the competition.
Nigeria has won the regional trophy for a record seven time and are looking to build on their rich tradition in youth football, and Arierhi’s form could be decisive in their push for another continental title.
He is joined on CAF’s watchlist by four other standout players: Jerry Afriyie from Ghana, who impressed at the WAFU Zone B Championship; Jody Ah Shene from South Africa, known for his speed and creativity; Mohamed Zaalouk from Egypt, a sharp attacker currently on loan at Future FC; and Pierre Dorival from Senegal, a midfield powerhouse developed by Olympique Lyonnais.
