Nigeria’s Super Falcons produced a ruthless performance to blow past Zambia 5-0 and book their place in the semi-finals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
A well-balanced blend of precision and power saw the nine-time African champions dismantle the Copper Queens, with forward Esther Okoronkwo playing a central role in the demolition providing two assists and scoring once.
The breakthrough came just two minutes in when Okoronkwo delivered a pinpoint cross that found defender Osinachi Ohale, who rose high to plant a beautiful header past Musole.

Moments later, Okoronkwo swung in another dangerous free kick that found Tosin Demehin, who headed in powerfully to make it 4-0.
