‘We will keep fighting’: Remo Stars boss remains optimistic despite 4-1 loss to Rangers

Remo Stars Technical Adviser Usman Abdallah says his team will continue fighting to avoid relegation despite a heavy 4-1 defeat to Rangers International FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Speaking after the match insiste the scoreline did not fully reflect his side’s effort.

“Our team played well but we were unlucky to lose with such a margin,” he said.

The match, played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, saw the hosts race into a two-goal lead inside the opening 11 minutes through Kenneth Igboke and Chigozie Iwundu.
