Three-time English Premier League winners, Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering an offer for Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi, who currently plays for Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic.
The 22-year-old striker has been on the Wolves’ radar since January 2024, and the club is now looking to rekindle their pursuit of him this summer.
Durosinmi has been in excellent form for Viktoria Plzen, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 22 games in the just-concluded season.

He helped the team finish second on the league table, 16 points behind Slavia Prague. The striker’s contract with Viktoria Plzen runs until June 2026, and he has scored 22 goals and provided 10 assists in 56 appearances for the club across all competitions.

Wolves are in need of attacking reinforcements after Matheus Cunha completed a move to Manchester United. They currently have Jorgen Strand Larsen as their first-choice striker, but they want Durosinmi to provide squad depth. However, it is unknown if the forward is keen on a move to the English Premier League.
Durosinmi suffered a knee injury that kept him out of action for 437 days in 2023, but he is now back to full fitness after making his return to club football in February. The 6ft4in forward has been constantly improving, and Viktoria Plzen boss has praised his progress.

If Wolves were to sign Durosinmi, it would be an interesting addition to their squad. The Nigerian forward’s height and physical presence could be an asset in the Premier League, and his goal-scoring record suggests he has the ability to make an impact. However, the club would need to negotiate a deal with Viktoria Plzen, who may be reluctant to let one of their key players go.
This will be a good move for the Nigerian forward, especially coming to the premier league that is adjudge to be the best league in the world where he will be in the limelight. It remains to be seen if the deal will go on.
