3SC appoint Bunmi Fadayomi as Chief Operating Officer in major restructuring move

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have appointed renowned marketing and communications expert Bunmi Fadayomi as the club’s new Chief Operating Officer.

The announcement comes on the heels of a sweeping shake-up within the club that saw the departure of Technical Adviser Gbenga Ogunbote, General Manager Dimeji Lawal, and the entire technical crew.

Fadayomi brings over 25 years of top-level experience across West and Central Africa, having led strategic campaigns across sectors such as telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), entertainment, and beverages.

His career includes high-profile roles in sports sponsorship, brand building, and fan engagement.

Most recently, he served as Project Director for Razzl’s $1.5 million Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2024 sponsorship rollout, coordinating operations across several host cities and stadiums.

His involvement in large-scale football activations is seen as a valuable asset as 3SC seek to elevate their commercial presence and fan experience.

Speaking on the appointment, Executive Chairman Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami stated.

“Bunmi’s appointment reflects our vision to strengthen 3SC’s operational backbone and unlock new commercial opportunities.”

Fadayomi is expected to oversee strategic planning, restructure internal operations, and drive new revenue streams as the club enters the 2025/2026 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
