Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have formally unveiled Nurudeen Aweroro as the club’s new Technical Adviser, as part of sweeping changes ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The unveiling ceremony held earlier today at the club’s secretariat in Jericho, Ibadan, confirming widespread speculation about the young tactician’s move from Ikorodu City FC to the Oluyole Warriors.
Aweroro rose to prominence last season after guiding Ikorodu City to a fourth-place finish in their debut NPFL campaign and leading them to the semi-finals of the 2025 President Federation Cup.

The arrival of Aweroro comes just days after 3SC officially relieved head coach Gbenga Ogunbote and General Manager Dimeji Lawal of their duties, in what the club chairman, Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami, described as a necessary overhaul to reposition the team competitively.
