Rwanda assistant coach, Eric Nshimiyimana, has dismissed any pressure on his team ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in Kigali.

Rwanda, currently sitting on seven points, is in a much stronger position than Nigeria, who have managed only three points from four games.

Speaking in the Pre-match press conference ahead of the clash, Nshimiyimana made it clear that the pressure is on Nigeria, not Rwanda.

“We’re not under any pressure because we already have our seven points. Nigeria are the ones under pressure because they need these points too, but they will not get them,” he declared
