Victor Osimhen further solidified his status as one of Europe’s top strikers, scoring two goals to help Galatasaray secure a 4-1 victory over Sivasspor in the Turkish Super League.
The brace not only sealed an important win but also saw the Nigerian forward break his own personal record, reaching 33 goals for the season.
The Super Eagles striker opened his account in the 15th minute, reacting quickest to Gabriel Sara’s shot, which had come off the post. Osimhen pounced on the rebound to score his 32nd goal of the campaign, surpassing his previous best of 31 goals set during his time at Napoli in the 2022/23 season.

Sivasspor managed to pull one back in the 33rd minute, but Osimhen’s earlier goals had already put Galatasaray in control.
The Nigerian forward was denied a hat-trick early in the second half, with a goal ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). Osimhen was substituted in the 70th minute, making way for Dries Mertens to see out the match.
