Confederation of African Football (CAF) Head of Safety and Security, Dr Christian Emeruwa, has celebrated a major career milestone after participating in his tenth consecutive FIFA final tournament.
In a post shared on social media, Emeruwa expressed his pride at contributing to the successful delivery of the recently concluded FIFA Club World Cup held in Philadelphia, USA.
“I am delighted to have been part of the team of officials that successfully delivered the FIFA Club World Cup here in Philadelphia,” he wrote.

The Nigerian-born football administrator described the achievement as a symbol of “consistency, commitment, and growth in global football operations,” highlighting his decade-long journey through some of the most prestigious events in world football.

This year’s Club World Cup featured top clubs from across the globe, culminating in another logistically demanding showcase for FIFA and its officials.

Emeruwa, who also heads safety and security operations at the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading figures in football governance.
