Enugu Rangers have officially released a heartfelt end-of-season statement following their Nigeria Premier Football League title triumph and the club’s announcement of a trophy parade celebration.

The Flying Antelopes, who secured their ninth NPFL crown after edging Rivers United by a single point, used the message to thank supporters, government officials, players, staff, and partners for what they described as a historic campaign.

In a statement signed by General Manager and CEO, Barr. Amobi Ezeaku, Rangers reflected on a season filled with “gratitude, joy and pride” after reclaiming domestic supremacy.

“What a season this has been. My heart is filled with gratitude, joy and pride as I reflect on what we have achieved together,” the statement read.

Ezeaku praised the players, coaching crew, management, supporters, media, and stakeholders for their collective role in helping the Enugu club reclaim the league title.

According to the club chief, Rangers’ record ninth league crown represented more than silverware, describing the achievement as a reward for sacrifice, resilience, hard work, unity and belief.

“Winning our record ninth league title is not just about lifting a trophy; it represents sacrifice, resilience, hard work, unity and belief,” the statement added.

The club also reserved special appreciation for Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, applauding his administration’s support for sports development and Rangers International.

Rangers further described supporters as “the heartbeat” of the club, thanking fans for standing by the team through difficult and glorious moments throughout the campaign.

“To our supporters and fans, you are the heartbeat of Rangers. You carried us with your voices, your energy and your unwavering faith in us,” Ezeaku stated.

Despite celebrating league success, Rangers made it clear that attention has already shifted toward further silverware, insisting the season is not over with the President Federation Cup still in sight.

“As we celebrate this moment, we also remember that our work is not yet done. While the NPFL season has come to an end, our journey continues as we remain in the President’s Federation Cup.”

The statement comes shortly after Rangers announced plans for a trophy parade to celebrate their title-winning season with supporters across Enugu.

The Flying Antelopes will now turn focus to their President Federation Cup showdown against Rivers United as they continue their quest for a domestic double.
