Stellenbosch have officially parted ways with Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah following the conclusion of the 2025/26 South African Premier League season.
Ndah becomes another Nigerian player to leave a South African club in recent weeks after Stanley Nwabali’s departure, although unlike the Chippa United goalkeeper, the defender’s exit comes after being released by his club.
Stellenbosch confirmed the departure of the 27-year-old centre-back as part of a major squad overhaul, announcing that Ndah and 12 other players will not be retained for the upcoming campaign.
The Nigerian international joined Stellenbosch during the winter transfer window after leaving Orlando Pirates in search of more regular first-team football.

However, his stay at the club proved short-lived, with the management opting against extending his contract as preparations begin for the 2026/27 season.
Despite arriving with considerable experience in the South African topflight and international pedigree with the Super Eagles, Ndah struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.

Before moving abroad, the former Akwa United defender built a strong reputation in the Nigeria Premier Football League, earning his move to South Africa through a string of commanding performances.
Ndah also went on to break into the Super Eagles setup, becoming one of the dependable defensive options during his rise in club football.
The defender is now expected to explore new opportunities ahead of next season as he seeks a fresh challenge and more consistent game time.

His exit marks the end of a brief spell at Stellenbosch, where expectations ultimately failed to translate into a sustained role within the squad.
