Speaking after the move, Schalke expressed confidence that the striker’s qualities and experience would help improve the squad as the club pursues its objectives in the upcoming campaign.

During his time in Glasgow, he helped Celtic secure a domestic double, lifting both the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish Cup.
Born to Nigerian parents, Adamu has built his career in European football and remains one of several players of Nigerian heritage representing other national teams at international level.
The striker came through the ranks at Red Bull Salzburg before earning a move to Freiburg, where he gained experience in both domestic and European competitions.
