Tolu Arokodare saw a first-half penalty saved as Wolverhampton Wanderers fell to a 1-0 defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Nigerian forward had the chance to put Wolves ahead at Selhurst Park but was denied from the spot by goalkeeper Dean Henderson shortly before half-time.
Arokodare, who now has two goals in 23 league appearances this season, struck his penalty low to Henderson’s right, but the Palace goalkeeper guessed correctly to keep the scores level.

The miss summed up another frustrating afternoon for the visitors, who remain deep in relegation trouble.
Earlier, the striker had tested Henderson with a tame effort from the edge of the area as Wolves looked to grow into the contest after a bright start from the hosts. Palace twice came close in the opening stages, with Yeremy Pino and Ismaïla Sarr going near.
Wolves were later reduced to 10 men when Ladislav Krejčí was shown a second yellow card just after the hour mark, leaving them with an uphill task.

Despite their numerical advantage, Palace struggled to break through until the final minute of normal time.
