Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has touched down in Istanbul to complete his record-breaking move from Napoli to Galatasaray, becoming the most expensive signing in Turkish football history.
Osimhen arrived at the Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal on Wednesday night from Germany, accompanied by his family, agent George Gardi, and Galatasaray Vice President Abdullah Kavuçku.
He is scheduled to undergo his medical examinations today (Thursday) before being officially unveiled by the Turkish champions.

The deal, reportedly worth close to €75 million, shatters the Turkish transfer record previously held by Beşiktaş, who signed Orkun Kökçü for €25 million earlier this summer.
In his first comments after landing, Osimhen expressed his excitement and deep connection to his new home:
“For me, I don’t know the words to use to explain. It feels so great to be back. Look at the crowd, look at the people who are tracking the flight.

I’m home. This is where I want to be. I’m happy to be here, to come back to where I feel at home for myself, my family and my friends.”
