Head coach Justine Madugu has named captain Rasheedat Ajibade and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in a 25-player Super Falcons squad for this month’s friendly matches against Cameroon in Yaounde.
The Falcons will face the Indomitable Lionesses on 28 February and 3 March as part of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Forwards Esther Okoronkwo and Chinwendu Ihezuo are also included, while Canada-based midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene returns after a three-year absence.
Forward Gift Monday is back after missing last year’s continental triumph in Morocco, and England-based goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor receives her first senior call-up. Defender Chidinma Okeke also returns to the squad, while midfielder Precious Christopher earns a first invitation.

Experienced defenders Osinachi Ohale, Michelle Alozie, Oluwatosin Demehin and Ashleigh Plumptre retain their places, alongside midfielders Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Deborah Abiodun and Jennifer Echegini, and forward Omorinsola Babajide.

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be staged in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April, with the four semi-finalists qualifying automatically for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
