Nnadozie named among world’s top five goalkeepers at Ballon d’Or awards

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been ranked the fourth-best women’s goalkeeper in the world at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.

The Nigerian shot-stopper narrowly missed out on the Yashin Trophy, which went to England’s Hannah Hampton.

Germany’s Ann-Katrin Berger came second, Spain’s Cata Coll third, while Dutch goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar finished fifth.

Nnadozie, 24, is the reigning CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year and is widely expected to retain her title after an outstanding season for both club and country.
