The Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) has announced the rescheduling of Matchday 31 fixtures, to accommodate the Eid El-Fitr celebration set for March 30, 2025.
The NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi made this known in a memo on Sunday, stating that the rearrangement of the fixtures was necessitated by broadcast demands
He further emphasised that Matchday 31 games have been brought forward to next midweek, with matches now scheduled to take place on March 26th and 27th, 2025.

The match is rescheduled to accommodate the Eid El-Fitr celebration, which is expected to take place on March 30th, 2025.
The NPFL board aim to ensure that players, officials, and fans can participate in the festivities without any conflicts with the league schedule.
The League hierarchy has been working closely with the clubs and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the new schedule.
The revised fixture list for Matchday 31 will be released in due time, and fans are advised to check the official NPFL website and social media channels for updates.
