The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has confirmed the venues and groupings for the 2024-25 U-19 Youth League.
The competition will feature 18 teams divided into three zones: Umuahia, Ikenne and Kano.
The Ikenne zone will host Shooting Stars: a seasoned team looking to make a strong impression alongside a young talent packed Ikorodu City, Sunshine Stars, Kwara United, and Bendel Insurance who are seeking to showcase their young squad at the Remo Stars Stadium from August 4 to 9.
Meanwhile, Kano zone will feature Kano Pillars, The host of the competition who are pumped to make a strong showing.
El-Kanemi Warriors, Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Niger Tornadoes, and Plateau United who are considered as the dark horse will battle from the Kano Zone at the Sani Abacha Stadium from August 10 to 16.

The Umuahia zone will comprise Abia Warriors, Akwa United, Enyimba, Heartland, Bayelsa United, Rivers United, Lobi Stars and Rangers with a storied rivalry with enyimba, both teams looking to impress.
The top two teams from each zone will qualify for the top-six finals, where the best U-19 side for the 2024-25 NPFL season will be crowned.

The exact dates and venue for the top-six playoff are expected to be announced after the zonal qualifiers conclude.
