Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi is on Leeds United’s radar as the English Championship side looks to strengthen their squad ahead of a potential Premier League return.
According to Africafoot, Leeds have opened preliminary talks with Portuguese giants FC Porto over a potential summer transfer for the Nigerian defender.
Sanusi, 27, has two years left on his contract with Porto but is reportedly willing to leave in search of more regular playing time.

A source from Gestifute, the agency representing Zaidu, revealed that Leeds is preparing a €2 million bid to tempt Porto into selling the Nigerian star.
Since joining Porto from Santa Clara in 2020, Sanusi has been a key figure for the club, winning multiple domestic titles.

He has also made over 22 appearances for the Nigerian national team, including a role at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
