Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi believes Samuel Chukwueze can return to his best by maintaining consistency after the winger’s impressive showing against Tottenham Hotspur.
Chukwueze, on loan from AC Milan, helped set the tone in the away win last month, supplying the pass that led to Kenny Tete’s early opener. He later struck the woodwork and was denied by a last-ditch tackle from Micky van de Ven after rounding goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
Marco Silva praised the Nigerian for his “all-round creativity”, as the Cottagers claimed back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time this season.
Iwobi said the squad’s unity is playing a key role in their improved form.
“We have a nice brotherhood in the team. Everyone motivates each other and everyone fights for each other,” he said.
“We wanted to get our first away win and that was the motivation today.”

The 91-cap midfielder urged Chukwueze to build on his recent displays.
“He is energetic on and off the pitch. We are happy to have him,” Iwobi said.

“You can see the magic he does on the field. ‘Chukwu-magic’ that’s his nickname in training. He can do it in training and in matches; he just needs to stay consistent.”

Fulham’s win was their first away victory over the reigning Europa League champions since 2013. The club sit 15th with 17 points from 13 games and face Manchester City next.
