Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi marked his Serie A debut with a late equaliser as Pisa earned a 1-1 draw against Atalanta at the Arena Garibaldi.
The 23-year-old, who completed a club-record move to Pisa earlier this month, came off the bench in the second half and scored with a powerful header three minutes from time to rescue a point for the newly promoted side.
Durosinmi was introduced in the 68th minute with Pisa trailing and struggling to convert their chances against an Atalanta team that had dominated large spells of the contest.

Atalanta appeared set for victory after Nikola Krstovic broke the deadlock late on, finishing from close range following sustained pressure from the visitors.
However, Pisa responded swiftly. Marcel Leris delivered a cross from the right flank, and Durosinmi rose above the defence to steer the ball past goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, sparking celebrations among the home supporters.

Durosinmi joined Pisa in a deal reported to be worth around €9m, making him the most expensive signing in the club’s history. His arrival followed strong interest from several European clubs after his prolific spell in the Czech Republic, where he scored 35 goals in 86 appearances.
