Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze has joked that teammate Alex Iwobi failed to fully prepare him for life in London after persuading him to join Fulham on loan from AC Milan.
Iwobi played a key role in Chukwueze’s summer move, with Fulham head coach Marco Silva previously revealing he sought the midfielder’s opinion on the Nigerian winger before completing the deal.
Iwobi is understood to have given a strong endorsement, helping smooth the path for the transfer.

Since arriving in west London, Chukwueze has settled quickly, becoming a popular figure within the squad and making a notable impact on the pitch.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals and provided four assists in 10 Premier League appearances, including a crucial equaliser in Fulham’s 2–1 comeback win over Brighton at the weekend.
Despite his positive start, Chukwueze admitted he is still adjusting to England’s winter conditions, with temperatures dipping to around four degrees.

Speaking in Iwobi’s matchday vlog, the winger said he had not been fully briefed on the cold weather before agreeing to the move.
“Alex, the best thing you told me to do in this life was to come to this club,” Chukwueze said.
“The worst thing you did was that you never told me it was this cold.”

Iwobi responded with a laugh, saying: “I can’t keep you happy, bro.”
