Stellenbosch FC CEO, Rob Benadie, says the club signed Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah to add experience and balance to their defence.
The 28-year-old joins the Steelies on a free transfer after leaving Orlando Pirates by mutual consent, ending a four-and-a-half-year spell in Soweto during which he made 81 appearances, won three MTN 8 titles, and featured in CAF inter-club competitions.
“Olisa is a player with proven quality and experience at the highest level, and we are pleased to welcome him to Stellenbosch FC,” CEO Rob Benadie said.

Benadie added that the move fits the club’s recruitment philosophy.
“We are deliberate in our recruitment strategy to ensure that every signing complements the group, and having had the chance to assess him closely, we are confident he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”
At Stellenbosch, Ndah becomes the fourth Nigerian in the squad, joining Kazie Godswill, Ibraheem Jabaar, and former Maroons forward Stanley Dimgba.

Benadie noted that bringing in players like Ndah helps balance experience with emerging talent, ensuring the squad can compete effectively both domestically and continentally.
