Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi scored his first goal for FC Porto as the league leaders produced a late flourish to defeat FC Arouca 3-1 and strengthen their grip on top spot.
Porto made a lightning start when Oskar Pietuszewski found the net inside the opening minute, with the goal confirmed after a VAR review despite initial offside concerns.
The hosts controlled possession for much of the first half and created several opportunities, with Pietuszewski forcing a fine save from Ignacio De Arruabarrena while Victor Froholdt struck the post during a promising spell of Porto pressure.

Arouca threatened immediately after the restart when Brian Mansilla crashed an effort against the crossbar, a warning that preceded their equaliser.
The leveller arrived in the 70th minute as Nais Djouahra rifled a first-time strike inside the right post to set up a tense closing period.
Porto head coach Francesco Farioli reshuffled his attack shortly after the hour mark, introducing Moffi and William Gomes in moves that ultimately proved decisive.
The hosts’ pressure paid off in the 89th minute when referee Iancu Vasilica awarded a penalty, which Gomes converted confidently to restore Porto’s lead.
