Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika was forced off with an injury as his side suffered a 2-1 defeat by Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian Pro League.
The Nigeria international was withdrawn in the 68th minute and replaced by Hans Vanaken, raising concerns ahead of the decisive phase of the season.
Brugge had made a strong start, taking the lead through Brandon Mechele in the 15th minute as they looked to move top of the table.
However, the hosts responded before the break when Mateo Biondic equalised in the 29th minute.

The game turned after Onyedika’s exit, with substitute Besfort Zeneli scoring the winner to seal a sixth consecutive league victory for Union St-Gilloise.
The result leaves Club Brugge four points behind the leaders with seven matches remaining, dealing a setback to their title ambitions.
Union move to 42 points at the top of the table, while Brugge remain second on 38 and will look to respond in their next fixture against KV Mechelen.

Brugge will also await further assessment on Onyedika, with the extent of his injury yet to be confirmed.
