A standout first campaign in Scotland has seen Emmanuel Fernandez recognized with top honors at Rangers
The Nigerian defender was named the club’s Player of the Season for 2025/26, capping a remarkable rise following his move from Peterborough United in July 2025.
Fernandez wasted little time making an impression at Ibrox. He announced himself in memorable fashion by scoring on his debut in November, a moment that set the tone for what would become a consistently influential presence at the back.
