The Nigeria Premier Football League has scheduled a one-day orientation workshop for the four clubs promoted to the topflight ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The programme is set to take place on June 26, 2026, as part of preparations for the new campaign.
According to a letter signed by NPFL Chief Operating Officer Davidson Owumi, the workshop is designed to familiarize the promoted clubs with the operational demands and expectations of Nigeria’s elite football league.
The invitation was extended to Sporting Lagos, Ranchers Bees, Inter Lagos and Doma United, who secured promotion and will compete in the NPFL next season.
“We bring you compliments of the Board, Management and Staff of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and wish to congratulate you on your promotion to the elite football league in Nigeria,” Owumi stated.
He added that the league body intends to use the session to educate club officials on the requirements necessary for smooth participation in the competition.
“Consequently, the management of the NPFL wishes to invite you to an interactive orientation and induction seminar, to enable us educate and enlighten you on the demands and operational requirements of the NPFL,” the letter read.

Each club is expected to send two representatives to the workshop, with attendees required to hold positions no lower than Chairman or General Manager.
The NPFL also noted that participating officials will have the opportunity to seek clarification on issues relating to league administration and compliance requirements.
As part of the orientation programme, the clubs will receive copies of the NPFL Frameworks and Rules while being guided through the implementation of Club Licensing Regulations.
Special attention will be given to financial management, contractual obligations to personnel, infrastructure standards and administrative requirements expected of clubs competing in the top division.
The orientation workshop just the first in a series of pre-season activities planned by the NPFL ahead of the commencement of the 2026/27 campaign.
