Kano Pillars have announced a major restructuring of the club’s technical and support departments as part of efforts to improve efficiency, professionalism and align operations with modern football management standards.
The sweeping changes were approved by the club’s management under the leadership of General Manager Ahmed Musa following a management meeting held on Monday.
According to the club, the restructuring takes immediate effect and is aimed at strengthening accountability, enhancing operational effectiveness and creating opportunities for qualified professionals to contribute to the growth of the former Nigeria Premier Football League champions.
One of the key decisions taken was the dissolution of all committees previously constituted by the club. Kano Pillars also confirmed the termination of appointments across all departments as part of the reorganisation process.
The club stated that new committees, appointments and operational structures would be established in due course to meet its evolving objectives.
As part of the exercise, technical and support staff attached to Junior Pillars and the club’s U-19 team have been relieved of their duties.
The affected positions include head coaches, assistant coaches, goalkeeper coaches, team managers, kits managers, nurses, masseurs and masseuses, curators and media officers.

Kano Pillars also announced changes to its first-team support structure, with several personnel relieved of their duties.
The affected positions include team manager, club doctor, nurse, cameraman, photographer, content creator, kits manager, curator and masseur or masseuse.
The club has simultaneously opened applications for qualified candidates interested in filling the vacant positions.
However, Kano Pillars clarified that applications for the first team are limited strictly to the support staff roles listed by the club, with no other first-team positions currently available.
The club further noted that individuals affected by the restructuring exercise are eligible to reapply, provided they meet the required qualifications and remain interested in contributing to the club’s development.
Interested applicants have been directed to submit their curriculum vitae and relevant credentials to the Kano Pillars Secretariat at No. 74 Hotoro GRA, beside Hadiza Bulangu Restaurant in Kano State.
Applications will be accepted for one week from the date of the announcement.
Kano Pillars said the restructuring forms part of a broader strategy to build a stronger institutional framework capable of sustaining sporting success, promoting professionalism and preserving the club’s status as one of Nigeria’s leading football institutions.
