Raphael Onyedika appears increasingly likely to leave Club Brugge this summer, with the Belgian champions reportedly reducing their asking price for the Super Eagles midfielder to €10 million amid growing interest from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Frankfurt submitted an opening bid for the Nigerian international last week, but the proposal fell short of Club Brugge’s valuation. However, negotiations between both clubs remain ongoing, with optimism that an agreement can be reached before the transfer window closes.
The 25-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at the Jan Breydel Stadium, placing Club Brugge in a difficult position as they seek to avoid losing one of their key players on a free transfer next summer.
According to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, the club has made several attempts to persuade Onyedika to sign a new contract, but the midfielder has rejected those offers as he looks to take the next step in his career.
The former FC Midtjylland star is understood to be eager for a fresh challenge after three successful seasons in Belgium, with the Bundesliga emerging as his preferred destination.

Club Brugge’s willingness to accept €10 million marks a significant shift from their stance just 12 months ago.
Last summer, the Belgian champions rejected a €15 million offer from fellow Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, believing Onyedika’s value would continue to rise. However, with only one year remaining on his current deal, the club is now prepared to sanction his departure at a lower fee rather than risk losing him for nothing in 2027.
Should negotiations progress positively, Onyedika could become the latest Nigerian international to make the switch to Germany’s top flight, with Eintracht Frankfurt keen to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.
