The Super Eagles players and officials have boycotted training in Morocco due to unresolved issues surrounding outstanding payments.
In a statement released by the team, the players confirmed that the entire squad, including officials, refused to train on Tuesday as they await a resolution from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
“The full squad including officials boycotted training today in Morocco because of the unresolved issues with outstanding payments.
The Super Eagles is awaiting a quick resolution to continue the preparation for Thursday’s game with Gabon.
Nigeria are set to face Gabon in a must-win 2026 World Cup qualifying playoff on Thursday, but preparations have now been disrupted by the payment dispute.
