Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi has completed a move to Serie A club Pisa, with Viktoria Plzen confirming an agreement worth €11m (₦18.7bn) including add-ons
The 2021/2022 Czech champions have accepted a €9m fixed fee plus €2m in performance-related bonuses for the 23-year-old, who signed his contract with Pisa on monday night per Fabrizio Romano.
Plzen confirmed Durosinmi would not join the squad for their training camp in Benidorm, Spain, citing advanced negotiations over his transfer to Italy.

In a statement published on the club’s official website, chairman and general director Adolf Šádek said the striker had a long-standing agreement allowing him to leave if both club and player were satisfied with an offer.
“There is a long-term agreement with the player that in the event of an interesting offer from abroad that would satisfy him and the club’s expectations, he will not be prevented from transferring,” Šádek said.

“We now have such an offer on the table and we are intensively negotiating the player’s transfer to one of the elite European competitions.”

Durosinmi, who joined Plzen from Karviná, scored 13 goals in 32 league appearances this season and becomes one of the most expensive outgoing transfers in the club’s history.

Durosinmi joins fellow compatriot Ebenezer Akinsanmiro at the club after himself joined on loan from Inter Molan
