The Warriors of Zimbabwe landed in Uyo, Nigeria to face the Super Eagles, who recently defeated Rwanda at their home side in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The Zimbabwe, under the guidance of their Coach Michael Nees and his coaching staff, arrived in Uyo on a bus specially branded for Team Zimbabwe during their arrival to Nigeria.
Zimbabwe hosted the first leg of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, forcing Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in the second half of the game in November 2023.
The head coach says his team will be aiming to turn around their fortune in the World Cup qualifiers in the game.
The fixture is a must-win for both sides as Nigeria is fourth in Group C with six points from five matches after defeating Rwanda 2-0.
Zimbabwe needs a win after a frustrating 2-2 draw at home against Benin Republic in their previous qualifier.
The matchday 5 game will be played at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo Nigeria 6pm on Monday.
The Warriors have already left South Africa, where they hosted Benin and drew 2-2 on Thursday.
