Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has officially left Paris FC following the expiration of her contract, bringing to a close a successful five-year stint with the French side.
Paris FC confirmed the Nigerian international’s departure in a statement released on Friday, expressing deep appreciation for her contributions since joining the club from Rivers Angels in 2020.
“After arriving from Rivers Angels in 2020, Chiamaka Nnadozie immediately became a key member of the team,” the club said.
“She was voted Best Goalkeeper in the Arkema Première League during the 2023/2024 season. Nnadozie leaves Paris FC after helping the team win the Coupe de France, where she played a major role in their triumph.”

At just 24, Nnadozie has established herself as one of the top goalkeepers in Europe. Her time in France saw her make 100 domestic league appearances, record 44 clean sheets, and maintain an impressive 74.4% save rate, according to data from Fbref.

She was instrumental in Paris FC’s three UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifications and their recent Coupe de France title.
Her individual accolades include being named D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Season and UNFP’s Best Goalkeeper.

The club’s social media pages were filled with tributes and gratitude for the Nigerian star, affectionately known by fans as “Maka.”
“Paris FC warmly thanks Chiamaka for all these five years that will forever leave an imprint in the history of the club. We wish her all the best for the next step of her career. Thank you, Maka!”
Nnadozie, who rose to international prominence after a standout performance at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, has not yet announced her next move.
