Enugu Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has travelled to Scotland to participate in a UEFA B coaching course as he continues to strengthen his coaching credentials ahead of future opportunities on the international stage.
According to updates shared on social media by Journalist Olawale Quadri on Saturday 4th July showed the Rangers manager after arriving safely in Scotland to begin the programme having already obtained the CAF C and CAF B coaching licences.

His latest coaching education comes after another successful campaign with Rangers, where he guided the Flying Antelopes to another NPFL title while also continuing his duties as an assistant coach with the Super Eagles under Eric Chelle.
The highly rated Nigerian tactician has built a reputation as one of the country’s leading coaches through successful spells with MFM, Plateau United, Heartland and Rangers, earning praise for his tactical discipline and ability to develop competitive teams.

The Sabi coach is regarded as one of the most progressive coaches in Nigerian football, Ilechukwu has consistently emphasised the importance of learning and adapting to modern coaching methods.
The UEFA B course is another step in that journey, with the Rangers boss looking to broaden his knowledge of the European coaching curriculum while preparing himself for bigger coaching opportunities beyond Nigeria.

The move is also expected to benefit Rangers, who are preparing for another continental campaign after qualifying for the 2026/27 CAF Champions League, as Ilechukwu returns with fresh ideas and modern coaching methodologies acquired during the programme.
