Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has been named among the defenders shortlisted for the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World 11, following a standout year for club and country.
The 28-year-old impressed at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, helping Nigeria to a record-extending 10th title in Morocco and scoring the decisive goal in the semi-final against South Africa. She was also named in the tournament’s Best XI.
At club level, Alozie has been a key figure for Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), earning plaudits for her consistency and attacking drive from full-back.
