Victor Osimhen became the fastest player to reach 50 goals in Galatasaray’s history as the Turkish champions secured a 3–1 away victory over Fatih Karagumruk in the Super Lig.
The Nigeria striker reached the milestone in just 59 appearances, scoring Galatasaray’s third goal to cap a dominant display by the league leaders.
Galatasaray made an ideal start when Gabriel Sara capitalised on a defensive error inside the opening minute, finishing calmly to give the visitors an early lead.

Karagumruk struggled to create chances but drew level in the 27th minute through their first clear opening. Serginho led a counter-attack before setting up Kalayci, who curled a shot into the top corner to make it 1–1.
The visitors regained control after the break and restored their lead when Rolland Sallai’s cross was met by Sara, who headed in his second goal of the night.

Four minutes later, Osimhen delivered the decisive moment. The forward controlled a cross with his chest inside the penalty area before firing into the roof of the net, a strike that sealed victory and took him to 50 goals for the club.

The win keeps Galatasaray top of the Super Lig table on 46 points, four clear of second-placed Fenerbahçe, who have a game in hand. Karagumruk remain bottom, with nine points from 19 matches.

Osimhen’s goal was his seventh league strike of the season and his 13th in all competitions in 18 appearances. Last season, he scored 37 goals in 41 games as Galatasaray won both the league title and the Turkish Cup.
