UEFA has confirmed Ajax’s Johan Cruyff ArenA in Amsterdam as the venue for the 2027 UEFA Super Cup, adding another major European fixture to Tuesday’s announcement of upcoming continental final venues.
The 2027 Super Cup will be played on Wednesday, August 11, 2027, bringing the winners of the 2026/27 Champions League and Europa League together in Amsterdam.
The Johan Cruyff ArenA has considerable experience of hosting major European occasions, although it has not staged a continental final since 2013, when Chelsea defeated Benfica 2-1 in the Europa League final.

The stadium was also one of the venues for Euro 2020 and Euro 2000, while its most prestigious previous club occasion came in 1998 when it hosted the Champions League final.
UEFA’s announcement forms part of a broader confirmation of venues for upcoming European club competitions.
The 2028 Champions League final will be played at Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena, while Barcelona’s Camp Nou will host the 2029 showpiece.
The Europa League finals for those seasons will be staged in Bucharest and Belgrade, while the Conference League finals will be held in Turin and Budapest.
