Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, will depart for Morocco on Wednesday as preparations give way to the final phase of their campaign at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The team leave Nigeria with confidence from their recent success at the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Championship, where they emerged champions and gained valuable competitive preparation ahead of their global assignment.

The Flamingos have now completed their final training session at home, with the squad holding its last session on Tuesday morning before beginning the journey to Morocco.
