The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Enugu State Chapter, has congratulated Rangers International following the club’s historic Nigeria Premier Football League title triumph.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Secretary of the association, Chibuike Peter, SWAN described Rangers’ ninth NPFL title as a remarkable achievement that once again underlines the club’s status among Nigeria’s football elite.
The statement, conveyed by the Enugu State SWAN Chairman, Gideon Iwueke, praised the Flying Antelopes for what he called a “well-deserved reward” for their hard work, discipline, resilience and determination throughout the season.
According to the association, Rangers once again demonstrated why they remain one of the most successful and respected football clubs in the country.

SWAN also commended the club’s management, technical crew, players, supporters and the Enugu State Government for their unwavering support and commitment which contributed immensely to the success of the team.
The association further noted that Rangers’ latest triumph has not only brought pride and joy to the people of Enugu State but has also strengthened the rich football heritage of the South-East region.
SWAN expressed confidence that the title victory would inspire even greater accomplishments for the Coal City side, especially as the club prepares to represent Nigeria in continental competitions.
“Once again, the association celebrates with the management, players and supporters of Rangers International on this historic achievement and wishes the club greater success in the future,” the statement read.
